Mix very little oil with 1 tablespoon of turmeric powder to get a paste. Add this paste to the hot oil and and stir it in well. allow the turmeric powder to steep in the oil until just warm.
Massage the oil, while still warm, onto your scalp. Wrap a hot towel around your head to allow the oil to penetrate into your scalp. Leave it on for at least 30 minutes (If possible, even overnight) and then shampoo off as usual.

Mix together 2 tablespoons each of curds and gram flour. To this, add 1/4 teaspoon of turmeric powder and mix well.
Apply this cream onto the body and rub it in well. Follow this up with a warm bath as usual. Although, you can take a bath immediately after application, it is more effective if you could wait 30 minutes.
